Hi this is our photo safari about "Västra hamnen".

One of the places that we decided to document was the famous building Turning torso.

It was built during the years 2001-2005. It is 190 meters high, has 54 stories and is famous for its twisted architecture.

In “Västra hamnen” there are a lot of restaurants and among them is one called “Salt och brygga”.

If you want to relax or get a good workout then Kockum fritid is the place for you. Here you can swim, ice skate, play tennis, yoga, sunbath and do many other things.

We got very excited when we got “Västra hamnen” as our topic because it´s a wonderful place to hang out with friends or family and to enjoy the beautiful view.

We asked a few people what they thought of “Västra hamnen” and what they thought was important for a tourist to see.

·      What place in Västra hamnen would you recommend a tourist to see?

This is what they said:

1.     I think that the best part of “Västra hamnen” is the café Espresso House.

2.     The thing that I like least about it is that it is so windy all the time. Because of the wind it gets cold.

3.     I´m here quite often. Everyday if I’m working but even though I’m free I’m here three or four times a week.

4.     Food wise I would recommend Espresso House but the most important attraction would be the famous building Turning torso.

5.      My favorite café is of course Espresso House.

1.     It’s so fricking windy.

3.     Everyday but I never come here if I don’t have to. I only come here to work.

4.     I would say that the Turning torso is the most important thing to see.

5.     I don’t know of many restaurants but the one that I do know of has awful food so I would have to say Ica Maxi.
